Yes, I have tried every chair. I go to trade shows and take notes. Here is my complete list of notes on each chair

Osaki – Deep tissue, sports massage addicts will love this chair. Nothing fluffy. If you are the type that wants a strong massage this is the one. Duomax and Vivo are the ones I like the best.

Panasonic – A licensed massage therapist would never recommend this brand – leave it at that.

Inada – A huge step above in quality over the Chinese imports. This ties in quality with the OHCO chair made in Japan.

Human Touch – Being in this chair is like I’m constantly asking the massage therapist to put more pressure, less pressure, etc, and they don’t listen. I don’t like any of their chairs.

Ogawa – Nothing really innovative. More like a cookie cutter massage and just feels like a rolling wheel going up and down my back. Pressure was never where I needed it.

Luraco – This is built for the high maintenance customer. This felt the closest to a professional massage therapist’s hands. Most precise Swedish and deep tissue of any chair. Prepare for sticker shock!

Kahuna Massage Chair – Better than most Chinese imports – Nothing impressive.

Infinity – When I turn the intensity up, feels like someone driving their elbows into my kidneys. Feels more like an assault than a massage.

Fujita – Strong massage but pressure was always off to the side, too much here or there. Not a massage chair I would want to promote.

Real Relax – Felt as if the chair only gives a skin deep massage. Very unsatisfying.

Inner Balance Wellness –

BodyFriend – An expensive massage chair from Korea. Strong but if you have super high standards when getting massages you might not like this one. Almost as strong as the Osaki VIVO.

JPMedics – Has a satisfying intensity – not too little and not too much but I felt it never hit the right spots.

Human Scale – If you like ergonomic chairs and the massage secondary this is a good one

Slabway – This felt like someone running their fingers up and down my back. Didn’t feel like a massage at all. I would love to talk to the person who engineered their chairs.

Zero Gravity – Similar to the Human Scale brand. It misses every area I want worked on.

Belmint – I couldn’t even finish the rest of the massage chair session. Felt like a chair from Brookstone from the late 90’s. (I sat in them while my Dad shopped at Brookstone)

Renpho – The person who designed this chair I doubt has never read about human anatomy? Learn your muscles before making a chair (origins, insertions).

Resteck – Deep tissue but pressure is not focused where I wanted it. I feel this chair was built with no intention.

SmartMassageChairs – Strong pressure. This felt like a massage therapist that just entered the massage chair field in their 50’s. Does not feel anywhere near like human hands.

Apex – I’d rather have a massage therapist with long fingernails give me a massage than sit though another Apex session. I stayed the whole time since I got into a conversation with the trade show employee and didn’t want to just get up and walk away.

Daiwa – Their flagship model put me to sleep. I would tie this chair with the OHCO flagship model.

Medical Breakthrough – Doesn’t have the hands on feel but if you have pain, this is a great chair. If you want results but not focused on luxury this is the chair to get.

Johnson Wellness – This chair applied pressures not in the right places. Once you try the high end chairs it’s really hard to like chairs that just feels robotic.

OHCO – If you are in pain, your standards go way up. This chair has what it takes to give a therapeutic massage. Just like the Luraco this is too pricy for most. Their most expensive chair was the one that I tried. I called companies selling it and they all tried to sell their cheaper ones. Not the same as their flagship. I believed it and this was one of the chairs I got that I had to resell.

Positive Posture – These look cool but massage was way below average.

TruMedic – People who call me for this seem to have done no research on massage chairs.

BestMassage – Another cheap import from China I cannot promote or recommend.

HoMedics – This is another highly requested massage chair. Super affordable and cheap.

Dr. Fuji – I see these at almost every trade show I go to. Prices are inflated. They have a $20,000 sticker on the chair and then its on sale for $10,000. They offered it to me for $8,000 if I paid cash at one of the shows. It’s a good chair if you buy it at the right price.

Sanyo -Overpriced for what the chair delivers. There are budget chairs that are better than this brand at the same price point.

iJoy – This is probably the most affordable chair. If you want to pretend you have a massage chair and tell all your friends you have one, get this one.

Cozzia – Nothing good. I’d rather have a massage therapist sit on their roller stool and give a fluff massage than waist my time in this one.

Titan – Their top end chair is still unimpressive

Sharper Image – These look better than the massage it gives. Only satisfying if you are trying to kill time while your spouse is shopping in the mall.

Ootori – For those looking for a mid grade chair this one is decent. I give them a C+ at most.

Relaxonchair – I tried this once and had to move on with the show – waste of time.

Synca Wellness – One of the better Japanese made chairs. Decent for those not too picky.

Brookstone – I never had anyone actually ask to buy a Brookstone chair in the last 10 years. Who still buys this brand?

Kyota – Better than most chairs. I feel like I still want something more when in this chair.
